• What charter options do you offer: bareboat or skippered?

  Both. Experienced sailors can book bareboat, while guests who prefer a relaxed holiday can choose a professional skipper for local expertise, safety, and stress-free cruising. Hostess/cook is available on request.

• Do I need a license for a bareboat charter?

  Yes. A valid sailing license (e.g., ICC, RYA Day Skipper or higher) and a crew member with sailing experience are required. If you’re unsure, send us your document and we’ll confirm eligibility—or book a skippered charter.

• What’s included in the price, and what is extra?

  Included: the yacht, standard equipment, bed linen, towels, VAT, and basic dinghy.
  Extras (typically): fuel, marinas/port fees, provisioning, end-cleaning, skipper/hostess, outboard/Wi-Fi/SUP, and optional insurance packages. We’ll send a clear offer with the full breakdown.

• How does the security deposit work?

  A refundable security deposit is pre-authorized at check-in to cover any potential damage as per the charter contract. It’s released after check-out inspection if no damage is found. Deposit amount depends on the yacht model.

• What are the check-in and check-out times?

  Weekly charters usually start on Saturday afternoon (after technical checks & briefing) and end on Saturday morning. The yacht typically returns to base on Friday evening for refuel & final inspection. Day trips follow your agreed schedule.

• Can you help with itinerary planning around the Ionian?

• Is the yacht insured? What about personal travel insurance?

  All yachts carry third-party liability and hull insurance according to regulations. We strongly recommend personal travel insurance for trip cancellation, medical coverage, and personal belongings.

• What should I pack for a sailing holiday?

  Use soft luggage (not hard suitcases), bring light clothing, boat shoes, sun protection (hat, SPF, sunglasses), a light jacket, swimwear, and personal meds. We provide linens and towels; beach towels are available on request.

• Are children and beginners welcome on board?

  Yes—families are very welcome. We can provide child lifejackets and plan calm routes with short hops. For beginners, a skippered charter is ideal to learn and relax safely.

• How do payments and cancellations work?

  Book with a deposit to secure your dates; the balance is due before embarkation as per the offer. Our cancellation terms are stated in your contract/offer. Ask us about flexible options or rescheduling where possible.

• Do you provide transfers, provisioning, and add-ons?

  Yes. We can arrange airport transfers (e.g., Aktion–PVK), provisioning delivered to the yacht, and extras like SUP, Wi-Fi, outboard, early check-in, and fishing/snorkeling gear—just tell us what you need.
